Tony Award, Drama Desk, and Drama League nominated and OBIE, Lucille Lortel, GLAAD Award winning actor Colman Domingo currently stars in The Scottsboro Boys at the Young Vic in London (What’s On Stage nominee for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical). He co-stars in many feature films such as Lee Daniels’The Butler directed by Lee Daniels alongside an all star cast that includes Forrest Whittaker, Oprah Winfrey, Jane Fonda, Vanessa Redgrave, Lenny Kravitz, Minka Kelly, James Marsden, Liev Schrieber and Cuba Gooding Jr, All is Bright opposite Paul Giamatti, Paul Rudd and Sally Hawkins, directed by Phil Morrison, Hairbrained opposite Brendan Frasier and Alex Wolf, and the Sundance indie favorite feature Newlyweeds directed by Shaka King. Colman Domingo is proud to have opened the Academy Award and Screen Actors Guild Ensemble Award nominated film Lincoln opposite Daniel Day Lewis as Private Harold Green, directed by Steven Spielberg and was honored to ride the dolly for the signature shot starring as Blessing Rowe in the critically polarizing Red Hook Summer directed by Spike Lee.

Colman recently made his London theatrical debut with his self penned solo play A Boy and His Soul at the Tricycle Theater.
